***Jafari announced: “We will not leave the Saudi action unanswered and have prepared plans for this purpose. We will defend Hezbollah Lebanon with all our strength and are seeking to strengthen the position of the movement in Lebanon and the region.”
According to FCN, the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, with a distorted interpretation of the statements of Brigadier General “Mohammad Ali Jafari” — Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran — and addressing part of them in today’s edition, claimed: “The Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, in response to Riyadh’s recent action of listing the Hezbollah movement of Lebanon on the list of terrorist organizations, threatened Saudi Arabia.
Jafari announced: “We will not leave the Saudi action unanswered and have prepared plans for this purpose. We will defend Hezbollah Lebanon with all our strength and are seeking to strengthen the position of the movement in Lebanon and the region.”
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat continued with the claim that Iran is seeking to fuel the fires of war in Yemen, writing: “While the entire region is seeking to stop the war in Yemen, Jafari announces that we will not abandon the Yemeni people and the sword of Ansarallah will be sharper in the future.”
This Saudi newspaper also claimed: “The Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, while supporting the dissemination of Islamic Revolutionary thought in this country, emphasized the necessity of engineering the revolution and expanding its inclusivity in the international arena.”
This newspaper concluded by writing: “Jafari is trying to justify Iran’s military intervention in Syria. He announced: ‘Iran’s participation in Syria is a response to the strategy of Britain, America, and the Zionist regime. They want to partition Syria.'”
