American police are searching for a man who has become known as the ‘Facebook killer’ across five states. Steve Stephens shot and killed a 74-year-old man and posted a video of the shooting on Facebook. He claimed to have killed 13 other people as well.

According to The New York Times, in a video on Facebook, he killed a 74-year-old man named Godwin after Easter dinner.

American police announced they are searching for Stephens in Ohio, where the killing took place, as well as in the states of Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Police have offered a $50,000 reward for any information about this fugitive killer.

When the elderly victim is confronted with Stephens’ weapon, he attempts to prevent him using plastic he was holding in his hand.

The last recorded signals from this fugitive’s phone indicate he was in Pennsylvania.

In videos that Stephens has posted of himself, he mentions the name of a woman said to be his ex-girlfriend. Stephens said he had a “sleeping monster” that is now awake.
