Swedish Priest Burns the Quran

A priest from the “Jäd Sandberg” church in Sweden burned the Quran in an act of provocation.

Reports published on social media indicate that a Swedish woman, who is a priest at the “Jäd Sandberg” church, burned the Quran on Friday, April 26.

She burned the Quran in the “Slussen” area of Stockholm, a location where Quran burnings have occurred in the past. While burning the Quran, the priest said: “I have witnessed the Islamization of Sweden and I have seen this issue for years. You can see how Islamists are spreading on all fronts. From security guards, janitors and transport workers to political levels, Islamists are infiltrating Sweden.

Since I believe in Jesus Christ and regard Christianity and the Bible as my guide, I believe that the Bible and Christianity should be enforced in Sweden, Nordic countries and Europe. Islam, its mosques and all those affiliated with this religion have no place in Sweden.”

Following the act of this Swedish priest, dozens of Stockholm residents gathered in the aforementioned area to protest her actions and chanted slogans against supporters of Quran burning and against racism. Furthermore, before the priest’s act of burning the Quran, the principal of one of the schools in the Slussen area sent a letter to parents of students, asking them to keep their children away from the protests. Students were also prohibited from being outside their homes and all activities were cancelled to prevent children and staff from being in the vicinity of the demonstration.
