The Story of the Rumor About the Death of Priest Henry Manoukian
The agents of the Islamic Republic and all those opposed to truth in recent decades have openly declared their opposition to the truth and righteousness revealed in God’s plan of salvation in the Holy Scripture.
The Iranian government and Islamic system have devised malicious plans against defenseless individuals who have only acquired deep peace and tranquility through faith in Jesus Christ, aiming to confiscate all Christian property under the guise of government collateral for the benefit of the system.
Or they expel them from the country through intimidation and threats, thereby closing the path of return for patriotic Iranians forever. Lest the Iranian people awaken to the truth hidden in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be freed from multiple forms of social bondage.
A striking example of freedom from bondage in Christian faith is Henry Manoukian. He was born in Tehran and was enslaved to heroin addiction for many years.
But Yousef Nazneen, who represents a true Christian, with great self-sacrifice stemming from his transformed Christian heart, took Henry Manoukian from the streets and brought him to his own home to care for him. Through prayer, Yousef Nazneen’s Christian love, and the miracle of Jesus Christ, Henry Manoukian was freed from heroin addiction.
Henry understood the liberating power found in faith in Jesus Christ and devoted his life to serving God’s Word and preaching the message of Jesus Christ. He became a blessing and liberator for many of his compatriots who, like himself, were living in the bondage of addiction.
Priest Henry Manoukian is one example among thousands of Christians who, with the help of Yousef Nazneens and through deep Christian love, have spread the message of hope and Christ’s love in today’s evil world in our beloved country. Thus becoming instruments of salvation for many outcasts, the poor, the addicted, and the depressed.
These liberated individuals have become exemplary citizens in whose lives there is no longer room for theft, drug trafficking, lying, cursing, or any other sin. Rather, through the new life that is only possible through salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, they become pleasing to God and beneficial to society.
This path represents a great danger to governments that have significant financial and social interests in the sale and expansion of drugs, moral and social corruption, and the spread of godlessness.
The Iranian government, using all means to counter the liberating and healing message of the Gospel of salvation, has sought to prevent the spread of the good news of God’s salvation. It has moved to destroy the image of the living Church of Christ and, through instruction at educational levels, has attempted to distort the views of citizens toward Christianity. Thus attempting to keep people away from the power found in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
But God has exposed all the truth-opposing plans of these agents and reveals the reality of the living God and the understanding of His Gospel to those who seek truth and righteousness. Understanding Gospel truths for truth-seekers is an answer to unanswered questions that the Islamic government does not want to hear. The Holy Spirit, through successive miracles, has proven Gospel truth and made evident the salvation and redemption accomplished through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for all humanity.
In these years, the intelligence agents of the Iranian Islamic government have sent many individuals as infiltrating believers within the Christian community, intending to destroy the liberating message of Christ in house churches. They then attempted to topple the Church of Christ by fanning divisions among Christian denominations or through multiple and shameful accusations against ministers and priests.
They have made every effort to keep our countrymen ignorant of the plan of salvation announced in God’s Word. The path of salvation that is the same in all Christian denominations, whether Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant, and speaks of God’s love for humanity and the salvific work of the Lord Jesus.
Recently, a rumor circulated on Facebook about the death of our beloved brother Priest Henry Manoukian, shared among 22 members of a group. In the written text, which is indicative of bias and falsehood, there are clear traces of intelligence agents of the system who operate in this capacity.
Why, when our beloved brother Henry Manoukian is still alive, are texts from false-friend enemies published and shared with the aim of insulting and destroying organizations, churches, and ministers of Christ? These policies are designed solely to destroy God’s Church and with the aim of distancing the Iranian people from the plan of salvation in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the book of Zechariah, chapter 13, verse 7, which is from the Old Testament books of the Holy Scripture, it is written: “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.”
A serious warning from FCNAN: If you have a user account on the Facebook social network, any person who claims to be a Christian and shares Bible verses should not be considered a keeper of your secrets and should not be invited into your personal life. Because these people not only share false claims about Christ, the Church of Christ, and ministers of Christ, but by entering your personal life on Facebook, they may cause you irreparable harm. So be careful.
