They Deceived Us With the Quran and Imposed It Upon Us
A girl, by burning the Quran, declared that they deceived us with the Quran and imposed it upon us.
The Islamic Republic government, through actions it has openly committed against the Iranian people since last year with the start of the popular revolution uprising, has not only turned people’s faith away from religion and faith, but has also made them disgusted with religion, faith, and the Quran. People who have now become aware have declared that in the name of religion and by following the Quran, they have killed rights-seeking people and deprived us of freedom of expression. We do not want a religion whose foundation is killing and preventing justice and ordinary rights. The Quran and religion are nothing but lies that have kept us occupied for years so that they can achieve their sinister goals, including crimes, corruption, assault, murder, and plundering of Iran.
Similarly, following recent events, we have witnessed the burning and tearing of the Quran in various countries including Sweden and Germany. A video was also published on social media platforms of a woman in Denmark named “Firouzeh Bazrafkan” who, in protest against the killing of the Iranian people based on Quranic writings, grated this book in front of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic.
Now, a video of a 20-year-old girl has been published on social media platforms in which, while burning the Quran, she says: “I am burning this Quran because 20 years of my life have passed with the lies of the Quran and its imposition upon me. They have taken freedom of expression from us and there is no freedom in this country. For a better future for myself, my peers, and the youth of this nation, I am doing this to say that we will not go under coercion and compulsion.”
