Tragic Death of 16-Year-Old Girl in Mortazigard District of Tehran

A 16-year-old girl in Mortazigard district of Tehran ended her life by hanging herself.

On the morning of Friday, December 8, a report of a suspicious death of a teenage girl was received at the Mostafa Khomeini police station 151, and officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the lifeless body of a teenage girl who had hanged herself in the kitchen of her home. Emergency personnel present at the scene also confirmed her death and reported it to the homicide prosecutor on duty. However, the reason for the 16-year-old girl’s hanging remained unclear.

The teenage girl’s body was transferred to the forensic medicine office by order of the special homicide prosecutor to conduct necessary investigations into her death. Investigation into the actual cause of her suicide was also placed on the agenda of Tehran’s Intelligence Police Department’s tenth division.

After one day has passed, no information about her suicide has yet been obtained, and no details regarding her identity are available.
