Will the People Remain Silent?

Colonel Gholamreza Mohammadi, a Revolutionary Guard officer deployed from Arak to Abadan, addressed the people in a video today. In this video, he announced that opponents of the Islamic Republic have three options ahead of them. 1. To fight and rise up, overthrow the Islamic Republic, and establish the government they want. 2. Those who do not want this government should gather and leave Iran. 3. Sit in their place, keep their mouths shut, and endure the pressure.

Continuing his remarks, he said: Regarding the first option, 99 percent of you are cowards and lack the courage to revolt against the revolution. Regarding the second option, you also lack the courage to leave Iran; because you do not have literacy, expertise, and technical skills. Moreover, none of you have literacy and mastery of the English language, and finally he called the people worthless and said you do not have the capital to leave the country. Continuing his remarks, he strongly emphasized the third option and ordered that most people must implement the third option. He said sit in your places, be silent, close your mouths, and endure the pressure.

He addressed people as cowards whose voices of protest have reached the ears of the entire world in these days. He called them illiterate and unqualified, while they are actually elites, and out of fear of them, these very elites have been imprisoned in universities. And to people who have become fed up, he orders them to sit in their places and endure.

But will these honorable people, who have even sacrificed their own lives, remain silent?
