Consecutive explosions in Tehran and Karaj are a sign of the spread of war and the collapse of the Islamic Republic's military power.

The successive explosions in Tehran and Karaj occurred while US and Israeli leaders are talking about escalating military operations against the Islamic Republic next week and destroying its military infrastructure.
Following the escalation of military clashes in the region, Iranian media reported on Friday, March 13, several major explosions in Tehran and Karaj. The explosions were reported hours after the Israeli army issued an emergency evacuation warning for some areas in central Tehran, a move that shows that the scope of the war between the Islamic Republic and the US-Israeli coalition has entered a new phase.
Reports indicate that loud explosions were heard in various parts of Tehran, including around Enghelab Square, Ferdowsi Square, and Hijab Street. In addition, the city of Karaj also witnessed explosions, and local sources reported seeing fighter jets flying low over Tehran.
Some reports also indicate that explosions were heard in the north, northeast, southeast, and west of Tehran, indicating that possible attacks may have targeted several sensitive points.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump announced in an interview with Fox News that the US is prepared to strike the Islamic Republic very hard next week. He emphasized that if necessary, the US will escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz to ensure that the flow of energy in the region is not disrupted.
In the conversation, Trump expressed hope that the US-led military operation in the region would be successful, while also saying that the US military was "totally destroying" the Islamic Republic.
Referring to the state of Iran's military forces, he said: "The Islamic Republic's naval and air power have been severely weakened, and a large part of the country's military equipment has been destroyed."
The US President also wrote in a message on the social network TruthSocial that the United States has "unparalleled firepower and unlimited ammunition" and will win this war.
Trump continued the message with harsh language against the Iranian government: "Look what will happen to these crazy, vile people today. They have been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, kill them. And what a great honor that is!"
He also emphasized that if one follows some media reports, one might think that America was not successful in this war, but according to him, the reality is that the Islamic Republic's military capability has been severely damaged.
Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said in an interview with Sky News: "The war with the Islamic Republic has not created a heavy financial burden for Washington."
He also dismissed the possibility that rising oil prices could make it difficult for the United States to finance the war, stressing that the US economy has the capacity to continue these operations.
On the other side of this crisis, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his first press conference after the start of the war with the Islamic Republic, delivered a direct message to the people of Iran.
He said that conditions are forming for political change in Iran and the moment to begin a new path of freedom is getting closer every day. Netanyahu stressed that since the beginning of the war, Israel has been eliminating all threats from Iran and that military operations aimed at destroying the Islamic Republic's nuclear and missile programs are continuing.
He also said that the cooperation between the United States and Israel in these operations was "unprecedented" and its achievements could change the balance of power in the Middle East.
The Israeli Prime Minister further emphasized that military operations against the Islamic Republic and its allied forces in the region will continue, and Israel is determined to complete the job.
He also warned that the Lebanese Hezbollah group will pay a heavy price for the attacks it has carried out in support of the Islamic Republic, and, according to him, will feel the power of Israel's arm more than ever before.
Analysts say the recent attacks and explosions reported in Tehran and Karaj could signal a new phase in the conflict; one that may transform not only the military structure of the Islamic Republic but also the political equations of the region.
While American and Israeli officials speak of a severe weakening of Iran's military capability, many observers believe that the continuation of these conflicts could have profound consequences for the future of the Islamic Republic and the stability of the Middle East.
As the scope of attacks expands and military and economic pressures increase, the question is increasingly raised as to whether the Islamic Republic will be able to overcome this crisis or whether the region is on the verge of a historic transformation.
