13-Year-Old Girl’s Suicide Attempt in Gachsaran
On Sunday, the 5th of Bahman, a 13-year-old girl in Gachsaran attempted suicide by jumping from an overpass. According to the Forensic Medicine Organization, teenagers account for more than 7 percent of annual suicides in Iran.
According to a report by Harana news agency, citing ROKNA, on Sunday, the 5th of Bahman 1399, a 13-year-old girl attempted suicide by jumping from an overpass.
Based on this report, the girl threw herself from a height of eight meters under the Gachsaran underpass and was transferred to the hospital minutes later.
The report did not mention the reason or motive for the girl’s suicide attempt.
