According to Hrana news agency, citing Rooyadeht 24, on Thursday, the 5th of Esfand 1400, a 13-year-old girl in Mashhad committed suicide and lost her life.

The report states that the teenager went to the eleventh floor of a residential building located on Toos Boulevard in Mashhad and shortly afterward, while talking on the phone with someone, she sat on the edge of the rooftop wall and dangled her legs. When residents of the complex spotted the teenager in this position, they contacted firefighters and paramedics, and several people went to the rooftop in an attempt to prevent her from taking this action; however, the girl threw herself from the eleventh floor and died instantly.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene when she showed no vital signs. Minutes later, after reporting the incident to the special prosecutor for murder in Mashhad, investigations into the matter began. The investigation revealed that the 13-year-old girl’s parents were separated, and she was living with her father and grandmother. However, due to emotional behaviors typical of adolescence, a proper relationship had not been established between her and her family.
