A porter wounded after military forces open fire in Bane border areas

Hrana News Agency – Today, Thursday, September 10th, a porter was wounded as a result of direct fire by military forces at the Honge Zhal border in Bane.
According to Hrana News Agency, citing Porter News, today Thursday, September 10th, 1401, a porter was wounded following direct fire by military forces in the border areas of Bane.
The identity of this porter has been identified as “Reza Hasani, approximately 30 years old and a resident of the Sirshio Saqez area.”
According to the report, military forces opened fire directly on this porter at close range without prior warning.
The porter was severely wounded in the pelvis area and was transferred to Saladin Ayyubi Hospital in Bane city for treatment.
Porter work is a false and arduous occupation that people in border areas turn to due to lack of employment opportunities, and annually dozens are killed or wounded in encounters with natural hazards or as a result of fire from border guard forces.
In a section of the annual report on the human rights situation in Iran; specifically for the year 2021, it addressed citizens who have been killed or wounded by military authorities.
Beyond material damages, killing of pack animals and incidents including frostbite and avalanches, the report documented the killing of 23 porters (border carriers) and the wounding of 81 others by border guard and law enforcement forces.
It should be noted that 28 other porters were also affected by climatic and geographical conditions such as frostbite and falls from heights, of which 16 porters were wounded and 12 porters lost their lives.
