Three teenage girls, aged 14 and 16, were arrested in Javanroud, Kermanshah, with one of them attempting suicide.

According to the “Henaw” news agency, following protests and bloody uprising in Kurdish cities including Mahabad, Javanroud, and Piranshahr, three teenage girls were arrested by IRGC intelligence forces.

The three girls named Tara Ahmadi, 16 years old, Sonia Karimi, 14 years old, and Pariya Fathi, 14 years old, were released three days after their arrest. One of the girls named Tara Ahmadi, 16 years old, on the same day of her release, after arriving home, hanged herself.

It should be noted that Tara Ahmadi’s condition is critical and she is currently hospitalized in the ICU ward of “Mohammad Rasulollah” Hospital in Javanroud.

What happened to these three young girls during the three days of detention that led one of them to attempt suicide remains unclear.
