Arrest of a Christian Convert in Sardasht

A Christian convert has been arrested by security forces in Sardasht city, and his fate remains unknown.

According to reports received by the human rights organization Hengaw, in recent days, the intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Sardasht arrested a 37-year-old Christian convert identified as “Shirko Siyavoshi” and transferred him to an unknown location.

According to an informed source, security forces beat Shirko Siyavoshi during his arrest and conducted a search of his residence, seizing his personal belongings including his laptop and hard drives.

Days after the arrest of this Christian convert, there is no information about his fate.
