Baloch People Protest Ahead of Anniversary of Bloody Friday in Zahedan

As the anniversary of Bloody Friday in Zahedan approaches, the Baloch people have taken to the streets in protest.
Balochistan, or the City of Blood, has witnessed the most protests since the beginning of demonstrations, with the largest number of weekly gatherings after Friday prayers and the highest number of casualties. People who have faced oppression and injustice throughout history and have been deprived of even the most basic amenities and civil rights.
The people of Zahedan have voiced their protests against the overthrow of the regime every week since the beginning of the 1401 protests, and despite the heavy security situation prevailing in the city, they have engaged in gatherings, demonstrations, and confrontations with regime forces.
October 30, 2022, saw a bloody Friday in Zahedan, a Friday when countless innocent people were struck by a barrage of bullets and lost their lives, from children to the elderly. Today, Friday, corresponding to September 22, 2023, the people of Zahedan, after the conclusion of Friday prayers and despite the severe security situation prevailing in the city, appeared in the streets from children to the elderly and voiced their protest with revolutionary slogans calling for the overthrow of the regime, as they prepare to commemorate the anniversary of Bloody Friday, which is only a week away.
