Benjamin Netanyahu: We Are Ready to Confront Any Threat

Benjamin Netanyahu, in response to threats from the Islamic Republic, announced Israel’s readiness to confront threats.

According to reports from “Israel’s Channel 12,” a missile that was fired at the residence of Hamas leader was launched from within Iranian territory. Benjamin Netanyahu, in response to threats from the Islamic Republic, issued a warning during a speech broadcast by Israeli television networks in recent hours, regarding the heavy price that would be paid for any violence on any front against Israel.

In his remarks, he stated: “Israel will exact a heavy price for any aggression from wherever it may come. We have settled accounts with Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, commander of the military branch of Hezbollah, and anyone else who harms our country will pay with their blood. Following the attack in Beirut, threats against Israel have been heard from all sides, but we are prepared, focused, and determined in the face of any other threat.”

The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency session in the coming hours regarding this assassination and the threats that have been made. The session will be held at the proposal of China, Algeria, and Russia, following a request from the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.

Reuven Sharon, military correspondent for Israel’s state-run “Kan” network, said about the operation to kill Ismail Haniyeh: “Non-Israeli forces entered Iran on the ground to carry out the plan to kill Haniyeh, and it is very likely that a bomb had been previously planted in Haniyeh’s bedroom, and internal agents cooperated in this matter.”

The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps also released a statement, confirming the death of Ismail Haniyeh, verbally attacked Israel, and held the country responsible for the killing of Hamas’s political leader.

Republican Senator Tom Cotton, a representative in the United States Senate, also responded to this assassination and the threats from the Islamic Republic by writing on the social network X: “America is a safer place without Ismail Haniyeh, the terrorist Hamas leader, whose hands were stained with the blood of many Americans.” Referring to the threats that the Islamic Republic has made following Ismail Haniyeh’s death, he emphasized and added: “If you harm Americans, there is nowhere on earth where you will not be found.”

Yoav Gallant, Israel’s Defense Minister, also responded to the threats by saying: “We do not seek war, but we are prepared for any eventuality.”
