Biden Needs Only One State to Win

Biden has overtaken his rival Trump in Wisconsin and Michigan, bringing his electoral votes to 264. Trump has 214 votes. Each presidential candidate is considered a winner if they obtain 270 votes out of 538 electoral college votes.

Two days after the U.S. presidential election, the winner has still not been officially announced. Vote counting is still ongoing in several states, but it is reported that Biden can win the U.S. presidential election by securing victory in one more state.

Biden was declared the winner in Wisconsin and Michigan, bringing him one step closer to final victory.

On the evening of Wednesday, November 4th (14th of Aban), Biden immediately appeared at his election center in Delaware with his running mate Kamala Harris and announced that he and Kamala Harris were able to obtain the highest number of votes.

Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee, emphasized that he does not intend to claim victory and is waiting for the vote count to conclude, but what emerges from the counting results indicates that he will be victorious.

Donald Trump had claimed victory a day earlier. While vote counting in the U.S. presidential election had not finished, Trump declared himself the winner of the election and called for a halt to vote counting. Trump called the election results “outstanding” and claimed that “fraud” had occurred in the election.

Donald Trump has particularly questioned the accuracy of vote count results in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Michigan is one of several states in the American Midwest where it was previously unclear which candidate would emerge victorious. However, after the vote count, it was reported that victory in this state went to Biden.

In Wisconsin, too, the votes of the rivals were neck and neck. But ultimately Joe Biden achieved victory with 49.4 percent of the votes. In this state, Donald Trump obtained 48.8 percent of the votes. Thus, the 10 electoral votes of this state belong to Joe Biden.

Trump’s election team stated that it has filed a complaint with the federal court.
