Call for Major Strike in Southern Iran

A major call for participation in strikes will be held in southern Iran on December 19-21 (28-30 Azar) aimed at joining the ongoing strike movement.
Following the massive strike by truck drivers and subsequently the strike by formal employees of the vast oil industry, as well as the campaign to withdraw money from banks, another major strike call will be held in southern Iran, which is considered the country’s largest economic hub.
This strike will take place in the ports of Abbas, Mahshahr, Imam Khomeini, Ganave, Bushehr, Khomiri, Jask, and Chabahar by employees across all sectors including unloading and loading, cargo drivers, passenger ports and others as a general and nationwide strike. These strikes will be held in the last three days of Azar month.
A group of physicians have also announced they will participate in these strikes due to the death and injury of their colleagues in recent protests.
Major economic hubs across Iran are joining the strike movement every day. People’s hope and belief is that through these strikes, they will break the economic backbone of the country, which has only filled the pockets of Islamic Republic regime officials, and after that the overthrow of the Islamic Republic regime will occur.
Now, in the face of all these strikes, the solidarity and unity of the people, what will the Islamic Republic regime do?
