“Peyman Talabi,” a presenter on Channel 3 of IRIB, attracted the attention of social media users during a live broadcast with his controversial remarks.
The publication of a video featuring remarks by Peyman Talabi, a Channel 3 presenter, made in the presence of one of the chemical warfare victims during a live program, drew the attention of users and sparked numerous reactions.
Mr. Talabi, in this live broadcast, while referring to Mr. Salimi, a chemical warfare victim, stated: “Look at Mr. Salimi’s image, a dear war victim who has been reduced to this state due to a chemical attack and has lost his eyesight. What is in my heart and what I cannot remain silent about is that our country had such angels who stood firm until the end and lost their eyes, and many are now lying on hospital beds unable to move. They stood firm to the end so that this nation would remain for its people.”
He continued his remarks in this live program, referring to embezzlers and those who exploit the people’s hardships, and without reservation cursed those who have only given slogans while their families are enjoying comfortable lives in Europe and living off the people’s money, and have also caused despair and hardship for the people.
