Couples Who Regularly Attend Church Are Happier

A sociology professor reported on research findings revealing that couples who regularly attend church experience happier lives.
According to reports from the Catholic News Agency, Bradford Wilcox, professor of sociology and director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia, stated in his research on this subject: “In most cases, women are more concerned than men about the fate of their shared lives.”
Their common life.”
While emphasizing that married men and women are happier than single individuals, he continued: “The path to happiness for women and men is paved through marriage. Married individuals are roughly twice as satisfied with their lives as single people, and this feeling becomes even more evident with the birth of children. Although marriage and having children may seem difficult, they also have many advantages. Furthermore, according to conducted research, the sense of happiness and contentment is greater among couples who attend church compared to others. They are 30 to 50 percent less likely to experience divorce and separation, because they have greater satisfaction with their lives.”
This sociology professor, while noting that since 1970 the number of couples who have separated in America has been declining, added: “As marriages become more stable, we will witness the growth of children in significantly healthier families, which is very important and vital for society.”
