Dismissal of 28 Employees from Hamadan’s 2020 Communication System / Unpaid Wages of Yasuj Municipality Sanitation Workers

28 employees of Hamadan’s 2020 communication system were dismissed from their workplace. Additionally, sanitation workers of Yasuj Municipality reported non-payment of their 4 months of overdue wages.

According to Hrana news agency, citing Hamshahri Online, 28 employees of Hamadan’s 2020 communication system were dismissed from their jobs as of Ordibehesht 31 of this year.

Based on this report, the dismissed workers of this company have not received their May wages.

One of the company’s employees stated in this regard: “The internet response service of 2020 Hamadan was transferred to Tabriz province due to mismanagement by the managing director of Hamadan Telecommunications.”

He continued: “Unfortunately, as of Ordibehesht 31, 28 employees of the 2020 response service in Hamadan province were laid off and we all became unemployed. We still haven’t received our May salaries, and most of my colleagues are married and in difficult economic conditions.”

This worker added: “Our protests in this regard went nowhere, and Hamadan Telecommunications accepts no responsibility for us.”

Unpaid Wages of Yasuj Municipality Workers

According to IRIB news agency, sanitation workers of Yasuj Municipality reported non-payment of their overdue wages by the relevant authorities.

Based on this report, sanitation workers of Yasuj Municipality have not received any salary or wages since the beginning of the year.

One sanitation worker, stating that the contractor refuses to pay these arrears under the excuse of lacking budget, said: “Their last payment was related to the wages of Esfand month of year 1400 in spring of this year, and they have not received the arrears related to bonuses and annual rewards for years (1397 to 1400).”
