Execution of Two Inmates Carried Out at Urmia Prison

The death sentence of two inmates at Urmia Prison was carried out this Friday morning, June 19.

“Qobad Farhadpour” from Kermanshah and “Jafar Mohammadpur” from Sardasht were executed early Friday morning, June 19, after being sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

The execution of inmates convicted of drug crimes in prison and whose sentences have been carried out comes at a time when the Islamic Republic regime itself has been the largest drug mafia, importing the most drugs and even distributing them in prisons, yet condemns individuals related to drugs to execution and carries out those sentences.
