Freedom Seekers Ignite the Fire of Revolution at Chaharshanbe Suri

Freedom seekers once again ignited the fire of revolution during the Chaharshanbe Suri celebration.

Tuesday, 23 Esfand, coinciding with the ancient Chaharshanbe Suri festival, freedom-loving Iranians took to the streets and rekindled the fire of revolution with greater intensity than before.

The 1401 Chaharshanbe Suri ceremony was held differently than previous years. By taking to the streets, the people came to protest against the regime and welcome the collapse of the system and the victory of the popular revolution.

Throughout all areas of Tehran and its surroundings, as well as in front of Evin Prison, all areas of Karaj, Javanroud, Gorgan, Rasht, Khalkhal, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Sanandaj, Bandar Abbas, Yazd, Isfahan, Arak, Boukan, Hamadan, Sabzevar, Takestan, Khorramabad, Kamyaran, Urmia, Mahabad, Tabriz, Zahedan, Zanjan, Bane, Divandarreh, Marivan, Piranshahr and many other cities, the widespread presence of people demonstrates the victory of the revolution. In Javanroud, brave Kurdish people also set fire to a Revolutionary Guards base in the city with small homemade bombs.

The widespread presence of people in Rasht’s Municipality Square and Golsar is another sign of the unity and solidarity of the people for the victory of the revolution. The people of Rasht have had widespread participation in protest gatherings in recent months.

The revolutionary uprising continues. Freedom seekers announced they would celebrate Chaharshanbe Suri by setting fire to Basij and Revolutionary Guard bases. In many cities, a large number of Basij and Revolutionary Guard bases were set on fire by freedom seekers. They also warned the regime and its agents by writing “Denial of any freedom invites popular persecution” on walls, conveying that the people have no fear of the Islamic Republic regime and will deal with the system seriously and decisively in their struggle for freedom.

This call continues. The unity and solidarity of the people is the key to the victory of the revolution.
