Gas Cylinder Explosion in Islamshahr, Tehran Leaves Six Dead

Officials in Islamshahr announced on Thursday, December 20, that six people were killed as a result of a gas cylinder explosion and fire in the Shams Abad area.
According to Hashem Imami, Deputy Prosecutor of Islamshahr, the victims of the incident were gathered inside a garden of a building under construction when, for unknown reasons, a gas cylinder at the location exploded, causing the death of those present at the scene.
Based on a report by the FARS News Agency, the identities of five of the victims have been determined so far, and experts are investigating the cause of the incident.
