Iranian Men Support a Woman Against One Commanding Mandatory Hijab

Iranian men supported a woman against someone commanding mandatory hijab.

Today, a video was published on social media pages and some news agencies showing Iranian men’s support against individuals who attack women due to mandatory hijab.

In the released video, which lacks complete information about its location, a person dismounted a motorcycle and, in front of the eyes of traffic police officers, slapped a woman who was not wearing a hijab, and immediately got back on the motorcycle. Before his companion could join him and they could leave the scene, zealous men rushed toward him and beat him in protest, telling him he has no right to lay hands on Iranian women.

People did not even allow the perpetrator’s companion to help him; instead, they blocked his way as well.

The unity and solidarity of the Iranian people is praiseworthy. People who no longer allow the regime’s agents and those who act recklessly to lay hands on and insult Iranian women; instead, they stand behind Iranian women and defend them like their own honor. The key to the success of the people’s revolution is this very unity, solidarity, and integrity of the people.
