Israeli Ambassador Calls for Expulsion of Ali Khamenei from All Social Media Platforms

The Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations called for the expulsion of Ali Khamenei from all social media platforms.

The Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, while thanking Elon Musk for supporting Israeli measures due to condemning the spread of antisemitism, called for the removal of Ali Khamenei from the X platform.

“Gilad Erdan,” referring to widespread propaganda against Israel and the sharing of Ali Khamenei’s posts on X that emphasized the destruction of Israel and the elimination of the country from the map, wrote on his X account: “Now, as you said, it is time to act. Those who call for genocide of Jews and the destruction of the State of Israel, such as Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, should be expelled from X and all social media platforms.”

Elon Musk, owner of the X social network, supported Israel’s war against Hamas on Monday with his presence in Jerusalem. In this meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he said: “Those who intend to kill should be neutralized, and propaganda that teaches people as future murderers should also be stopped.”

Elon Musk also stated in November of this year by publishing a podcast about the reason why accounts of people such as Ali Khamenei were not blocked on the X social network: “We have a law similar to immunity in the United Nations. While the Ayatollahs call for the destruction of Israel, they are allowed to enter the United Nations building in New York. What we want is for the leaders of countries to present their words on social networks, and you to hear their words even if what they say is terrible.”
