Kermanshah and Hormozgan provinces have the highest number of unemployed in the country with unemployment rates above 15 percent

The Iran Statistics Center says that Kermanshah and Hormozgan provinces have the highest number of unemployed in the country with unemployment rates above 15 percent.

According to a report by the “Trade News” website, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Sistan and Baluchestan, and Isfahan provinces are respectively in the subsequent ranks of unemployment rates in the country.

Based on this report, as data from the Iran Statistics Center shows, the unemployment rate in spring of this year increased by one percent compared to last year. On this basis, approximately 75 thousand people have been added to the country’s unemployed population.

The labor minister last year announced: In the country there are 2.5 million people who are absolutely unemployed and 14 million people without access to decent employment.
