Kermanshah Province has Highest Unemployment Rate in Iran

Kermanshah Province with an unemployment rate of 16.2 percent has the highest unemployment among the country’s provinces, and the presence of approximately 155,000 unemployed people in Kermanshah has consistently placed this province in the first to third ranks in terms of unemployment rate in recent years.
Also, in terms of inflation rate over the past 12 years, Kermanshah Province with an average of 20 percent has consistently held the first rank in the country, and 43 percent of the province’s 963 industrial units are currently closed, and 55 percent of these units continue to operate at half their capacity and face various problems.
Furthermore, the unemployment rate of graduates in this province is very high. The unemployment rate among graduates or individuals still studying in higher education centers who fall within the active population group is 18.3 percent in the country and 28.5 percent in Kermanshah Province.
