Mohammad Javad Zarif: If War Reaches Iran, the Iranian People Will Die, Not Islamic Republic Officials

Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that if war reaches Iran, nothing will happen to Islamic Republic officials, but rather the Iranian people will die.

The war between Hamas and Israel, which began on October 7, has widened the shadow of conflict in the Middle East. The commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force also announced in this regard that Tehran is prepared for any circumstances.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, referring to the war between Hamas and Israel, as well as Lebanon, which is on the brink of war with Israel, stated: “If this war reaches Iran, nothing will happen to Islamic Republic officials, but rather it is the Iranian people who will be harmed and killed.”

The announcement of readiness by the “Resistance Movement” to enter into war with Israel in support of Hamas comes as the Israeli army has repeatedly stated that any intervention in the said war would drag the conflict into the Middle East and consume many with the flames of this war.

Tehran announced its readiness for war conditions while in recent weeks, the Iranian people, through issuing a statement addressed to the European Union, the United States, and the United Nations, declared that they have no enmity with Israel and the United States and do not want war to be dragged into Iran; because if this war involves Iran, the people’s efforts to overthrow the Islamic Republic system will be fruitless and will delay this process, the result of which will be the continuation of the Islamic Republic government and its agents.
