Multiple Killed and Injured in Shooting at Church in Kentucky State

American police reported that several Christians were killed and injured following a shooting at a church located in Kentucky state.
Police in the city of “Lexington” issued a statement following the shooting incident on Sunday, July 13, at a Baptist church in the city, and announced: “This incident occurred after the suspect first opened fire on a state police officer near the Blue Grass Airport and then fled to the Richmond Road Baptist Church.”
According to police reports, the suspect opened fire at several people after entering the church, resulting in two people being killed and several others injured. Police also stated that the shooter also died at the church location, but no details have been clarified regarding the manner of his death.
Police statement also mentioned that the police officer who was shot and wounded by the suspect is currently under medical care and his health condition has returned to a stable state. Officials at the “Blue Grass” airport also announced that the incident had no impact on flights.
“Andy Beshear,” the Governor of Kentucky state, also posted a message on his social media account on X, thanking the quick response of police forces and asked people to pray for the victims of this incident.
