Nothing Remains of 16-Year-Old Abolfazl But Open Eyes
The family of Abolfazl spoke about their 16-year-old son who is no longer smiling, and only his eyes remain open.
“Abolfazl Amiratai,” 16 years old, who was present during the nationwide protests on September 22, 2022 in Rey city, was shot in the head by Islamic Republic suppressive forces with a military bullet.
As the popular revolutionary uprising enters its seventh month, many crimes of the Islamic Republic regime have recently come to light. Until recently, there was no information about Abolfazl’s condition, but videos of him have recently been shared on social media pages revealing his devastating situation.
After being shot in the head, Abolfazl was transferred to the hospital and has been on life support for seven months since then, showing no signs of consciousness. Abolfazl’s family announced by sharing his photos on social media: “He was only 16 years old. Now, from that smiling 16-year-old boy, only an unconscious boy remains, with only his eyes open.”
The devastating condition of Abolfazl and others like him, as well as photos of him shared on social media, have broken the hearts of every human being. They send messages to the regime through their slogans every day, saying that the Iranian people will not endure all these crimes. Iran and its people have nothing left to lose but the soil of Iran, and we will remain in the streets until the victory of the revolution and the overthrow of the regime.
