One Dead and 155 Injured in Chaharshanbeh Suri Ceremonies

Peyman Saberian, head of the Chaharshanbeh Suri committee at the Ministry of Health, announced the death of one person as a result of Chaharshanbeh Suri incidents.

According to ISNA, Peyman Saberian said: “Around 9 p.m. tonight, one death was reported in Zanjan county as a result of an explosion of flammable materials.”

The head of the Chaharshanbeh Suri committee at the Ministry of Health said the total number of injured nationwide from the beginning of today until 8 p.m. is 155 people, and from the beginning of the month of Esfand until 8 p.m. tonight is 433 people.

According to him, until 7:30 p.m. today, 10 cases of limb amputation have been reported.
