Parvin Mohammadi Transferred to Prison with One-Month Detention Order

The lawyer of Parvin Mohammadi, a labor activist, announced that his client has been transferred to Shahid Kachuyee Prison following the issuance of a one-month detention order.

Mohammad Ali Jadari Foroughi told INNA that a one-month detention order was issued for his client yesterday, but after providing explanations, a bail order of 300 million tomans was issued for Parvin Mohammadi.

Jadari Foroughi added that this morning, Thursday, the 11th of Bahman, “after the case was referred from branch 11 to branch 12, a one-month detention order was issued again, and following that, Parvin Mohammadi was transferred to Shahid Kachuyee Prison in Karaj.”

Parvin Mohammadi, Vice President of the Free Union of Iranian Workers, was arrested by officers of Fardis Police Station 11 in Karaj on Tuesday of this week. According to reports, security personnel confiscated all of his personal belongings, laptop, and mobile phone.
