Priest Killed Along with His Family in Uganda by Extremist Islamists

A priest along with his family in Uganda has been killed by extremist Islamists.

For years, Christians have been persecuted and tormented by radical and extremist Islamists in every corner of the world. From arrest and torture to execution and murder, Christians worldwide face injustices that often go unreported and remain hidden from the media.

One such atrocity against Christians occurred this month (October) and remained hidden for two weeks. Priest “Waren Mukisa” is one of the Christians who, along with his family, was burned and killed by extremist Islamists. He lived with his wife and two young daughters in the “Namutumba” region of Uganda when they became victims of a savage attack by Islamists.

Priest Mukisa, who was 30 years old, had preached the good news of the Gospel to Muslims in a village last month (September) and invited them to believe in Jesus Christ. In response to his actions, extremist Islamists set fire to his house in the early morning of October 13, a fire that resulted in him being savagely killed along with his wife and two young daughters.

“Tusubira,” the brother of Priest Mukisa, said about this: “When three young Muslims converted to Christianity, my brother received threatening messages telling him to stop all contact with these Christian converts, saying that such actions violated Islamic teachings.

But my brother paid no attention to these threats and continued to preach God’s word among Muslims. Unfortunately, one night a group of angry Muslims attacked my brother’s house and set it on fire. As soon as we learned about it, we went to the scene, but by the time we reached my brother’s house, it was too late, and we were confronted with their charred remains.”

Tusubira, addressing the people and media, said: “Please pray that the extremist Muslims who killed my brother and all members of his family will repent and believe in the true God.”

Provincial police also confirmed the fire and announced that they are searching for suspects in this murder case.
