Public Insult and Accusation of Barbarism Against Shiite Prophets by Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Leader

Ali Khamenei publicly and inadvertently labeled Shiite prophets as barbaric.
In one of his speeches, Ali Khamenei said: “European races are barbaric races. Their appearance is ironed, their hair is curled and they wear cologne, but their inner nature is the same barbarism that has existed in history and still exists in them.”
Ali Khamenei’s speech was broadcast on state television while scholars and government spokespeople approved by Ali Khamenei declared in their speeches that the eighth Imam of Shiites (Reza) and the twelfth Imam of Shiites (Mahdi) were of European descent. In his speech, Ali Khamenei labeled Europeans as barbaric—Europeans whose race the eighth and twelfth Imams of Shiites are said by these officials to belong to.
A video circulated on social media that compiled these speeches together, revealing their own disbelief in Shiite Imams—a belief with which they have held people in captivity for 44 years. The content of the speeches in the released video is as follows:
“Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mehdi Tehrani” spoke about the identity and descent of Reza (the eighth Imam of Shiites) in one of his speeches. Mehdi Tehrani said in this speech: “One of the names of the mother of Imam Reza is ‘Marcia,’ who is from Marseille, one of the cities of France. Therefore, Imam Reza’s descent from his mother’s side is European.”
“Hassan Rahimpour-Aghdam” is a speaker, conspiracy theorist, and conservative fundamentalist ideologue whom Ali Khamenei appointed to membership of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution in 2003 and to membership of the Council of Representatives of the Supreme Leader in Universities in 2007. Aghdam also regularly gives public speeches that are broadcast weekly on state television.
He also spoke about the identity of Imam Mahdi and his mother in one of his speeches broadcast on state television. In this speech, he said: “The mother of Imam Mahdi, Nargis, is European (the word ‘Nargis’ was used to address women with respect), and her name was Malika, but she was called ‘Nargis’ because the name Nargis was used for enslaved women and concubines. The pseudonym Nargis was given to her so that others would not realize she was from a prominent and great family of the Roman Empire. Therefore, Imam Mahdi is European from his mother’s side.”
These two government officials’ speeches were released while Ali Khamenei, Iran’s leader, referred to Europeans as barbaric. This means that even they themselves do not believe in Shiite prophets and have only kept people occupied with belief in them for 44 years in order to gain access to crimes and plundering of Iran, which moreover does not belong to them.
