Widespread Presence of Female Skateboarders Without Mandatory Hijab on Tehran Streets

A large number of female skateboarders without mandatory hijab appeared on the streets of Tehran.
A video has been circulated on social media showing the presence of girls without mandatory hijab along with boys on Tehran streets.
Last Friday, corresponding to the 20th of Mordad, a large gathering of girls and boys took to the street with their skateboards wearing optional clothing, at a time when the Islamic Republic government is imposing strict pressure regarding mandatory dress codes for Iranian girls and women. In the scene visible in this video, they continue on their path without paying attention to the presence of government officials on the street.
Their presence comes at a time when many businesses have been sealed due to non-compliance with hijab regulations, and according to statements by the spokesperson of the Judiciary, more than 2,200 legal cases regarding hijab violations were filed in the first four months of the year, of which 825 resulted in convictions. However, the disobedience of Iranian rights-seeking women regarding mandatory hijab continues to expand daily against the Islamic Republic system.
The female and male skateboarders announced through the release of the aforementioned video that they are injecting joy into society for Mr. President.
