Arrest of Foreign National in Pardis

The police commander of Pardis County announced the arrest of a foreign national for what he described as “insulting sacred values.” According to him, the arrest of this individual was made regarding content he published in cyberspace.
According to Harana News Agency, citing IRNA, the police commander of Pardis County announced the arrest of a foreign national in the county.
The police commander of Pardis County described the reason for arresting this foreign national as “publishing insulting content against Islamic sacred values in cyberspace.”
Mohammad Hasan Mohammadi said: The intelligence police of Damavand County identified the suspect, who was a foreign national, and after coordinating with the judiciary, arrested him.
Mohammadi concluded by claiming: The suspect confirmed his connections to counter-revolutionary groups during police investigations.
The report did not mention the identity of the arrested individual.
