Family of Sepideh Gholian Gathers in Front of Shoush Court

The family of Sepideh Gholian, a civil activist detained in Iran, along with several Haft Tappeh workers, held a protest gathering in front of Shoush Court on Monday, March 4.
At this gathering, Sepideh Gholian’s family protested the continued detention of this imprisoned civil activist while holding written statements and demanded her release.
This gathering took place amid the lack of precise information about Sepideh Gholian’s condition. In recent days, the family of Esmail Bakhshi, an imprisoned labor activist, had also held multiple gatherings demanding his release.
Esmail Bakhshi and Sepideh Gholian were arrested for the second time on November 21 when they had spoken about being tortured during their previous detention.
Previously, Amnesty International had warned of the danger of re-torture of “Esmail Bakhshi” and “Sepideh Gholian.”
