Latest Information on the Situation of Mohammad Qobadlo and Mohammad Broghani
The steadfastness and unity of the people in front of Rajaei Shahr Prison resulted in a change in Mohammad Broghani’s situation.
Since early this morning, people in Karaj have continued to gather in front of Rajaei Shahr Prison in support of Mohammad Qobadlo and Mohammad Broghani, with their numbers increasing every moment. The message of those present in front of the prison to all the people of Iran is that this is not a time to sit idle; the time has come to rise up. Everyone must stand.
The widespread presence of people chanting “This is the last message, execute it, uprising” created a security tension inside the prison. According to reports from Shahriyar Shams, a student activist who was recently released from prison, the unity and solidarity of the people appear to have changed the situation, and Mohammad Broghani has been returned to his previous cell. However, there is still no information about Mohammad Qobadlo’s situation. He stated that he has no news of Mohammad Qobadlo and is not in contact with their cell ward. Due to the security situation in the prison, there is no possibility of going to the guard officer and inquiring.
The number of Guard forces inside the prison has increased, and all transfers out of the prison today have been cancelled. Additionally, gunfire sounds are occasionally heard from inside the prison, but the reason for these shots remains unclear.
The Islamic Republic government is living in fear of the people’s unity and solidarity. Is it possible that this unity and these protests could lead to the cancellation of the execution sentence for these two innocent young men?
