Pope: You who judge others, who are you?

Pope Francis has advised Catholics to refrain from judging others and to look at themselves in the mirror honestly, without concealment.

On Monday, during his final morning prayer before taking his summer vacation, Pope Francis said that those who constantly judge people should focus on their own behavior.

According to Vatican Radio, the Pope said: “Look in the mirror, not to apply makeup and conceal wrinkles on your face. But to see yourself as you truly are.”

The Pope said that God sees those who criticize others excessively instead of looking at themselves as hypocrites.

He said: “Having a judgmental behavior is very ugly. Only God can judge.”

The Pope encouraged his followers to practice love, understanding, and compassion.
