Prince Reza Pahlavi’s New Year Greeting Message to Iranian Compatriots

Prince Reza Pahlavi, through a video message, greeted Iranian compatriots around the world at the beginning of the new year.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, on the current day, by releasing a video message, congratulated Iranian compatriots on the arrival of the new year. He expressed his hopes for a new beginning for the Iranian nation and began his congratulations as follows:
“My dear compatriots!
I wish you all a happy Nowruz and the beginning of the new year. Ancient Nowruz is a symbol of national solidarity, resilience, and the steadfastness of Iranian culture against oppressors. It heralds a new beginning for the Iranian nation and a long period of freedom, flourishing, and progress after the Islamic Republic.
This year, as the Islamic regime’s efforts to diminish Nowruz have intensified, holding this national celebration as magnificently as possible, despite all the hardships the regime has imposed on the Iranian people, takes on double importance. At the beginning of the new year, I ask all of you, my dear compatriots, to see this year’s Nowruz as an opportunity to be more compassionate with one another and more united against our common enemy, the Islamic Republic.
We are beginning the new year at a time when the Islamic Republic is in its weakest and most ineffective period. On one hand, it is losing its proxy forces and allies one after another, and on the other hand, it is incapable of providing livelihood, water, electricity, and gas for the people. It has plundered the nation’s wealth, brought the country’s economy and national currency to ruin.
The Islamic Republic is on the verge of collapse, and an unprecedented window of opportunity has emerged for major changes and Iran’s liberation from religious tyranny. However, we must know that this window of opportunity is not permanent, and the regime’s fall will not happen on its own. Instead of waiting for a savior to appear or for the regime to collapse on its own, we must take action ourselves and take control of our own destiny.
In the year that has passed, at your request, I accepted the leadership of the national revolution and the transition period, and to achieve victory, I presented an organized plan based on five main pillars. In this year, with pragmatism and doubled efforts, we have moved beyond those who are part of the problem. Those who want to be part of the solution have also joined together and laid the groundwork for cooperation and convergence.
The coming year is a year of organizing for final action. Throughout Iran, from the shores of the Persian Gulf to the banks of the Caspian Sea, from Taq-e Bostan to Naqsh-e Jahan, from Haft Tappeh to Tus, from Ahvaz to Gonbad Kavus, from Hamoun to Urmia, from Karun to Zayandeh Rood, from Zaribars to Dasht-e Lut, from the Zagros to the Alborz and from Sabalan and Sahand to Alvand and Damavand, let us organize and prepare for final action.
At these initial moments of the year, I remember the immortal heroes of the homeland’s path and political prisoners. I remember the families whose loved ones’ seats at the Haft-Sin table are empty. Their memory is with us, and their names inspire us on the path to victory. I believe that with your determination, will, and perseverance as a unified and cohesive nation, our Iran will triumph over the evil of the Islamic Republic, and once again our land will be free and prosperous, a land of stability and flourishing.
