“The Chosen Adventures,” An Animation for Children and Spreading Christ’s Message Worldwide

The creators of the popular series “The Chosen” are expanding their Christian message to children and new generations around the world by releasing the animation “The Chosen Adventures.”

The team behind the Christian series “The Chosen” announced the release of a special children’s animation “The Chosen Adventures,” which narrates the story of Jesus Christ’s life from the perspective of two children and will air on Amazon Prime starting October 17. Additionally, the fifth season of the series has been released for free, with the ultimate goal of reaching global audiences and spreading the Christian message announced.

The production team of “The Chosen” series has taken a new step toward educating and inspiring children and families by releasing two important projects. The animation “The Chosen Adventures” tells the story of two children named “Abby” and “Joshua” in the ancient city of Capernaum, where their encounter with Jesus Christ transforms their perspective on the world and human and divine values.

Dallas Jenkins, creator and director of the series, said about this project: “We wanted to create this opportunity so that audiences, especially children, could see Jesus through the eyes of children and accompany him.”

Some of the main cast members of the series, including Jonathan Roumis in the role of Jesus, will provide voice acting for this animation. This project is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Studios 5&2 and will consist of 14 episodes of eleven minutes each.

The fifth season of “The Chosen” series is now available for free on the official app, and a lighter version called The Chosen Lite has also been released for easy access in areas with weak internet connectivity. Jenkins and the “Come and See” foundation emphasized that the ultimate goal is to distribute the series in 600 languages and deliver Christ’s message to the largest audience possible.

The series “The Chosen” has so far reached over 280 million viewers in 175 countries and has set a Guinness world record for “the most translated television series.”

The animation “The Chosen Adventures” is an opportunity for children around the world to become familiar with the teachings of Christianity and understand the message of love, forgiveness, and divine values. However, there are also challenges:

  • Deep impact on children: Media access alone is not enough; education and guidance from families and churches play an important role in conveying the message.
  • Preservation of cultural and religious authenticity: Translation and dubbing into different languages require precision to properly convey the Christian message.
  • A global opportunity to support Christians: While these productions promote divine and educational messages, it should be noted that Christians in many parts of the world still face persecution and discrimination, and even European countries and other governments, despite signing international human rights treaties, do not actually support them.

This reality doubles the importance of projects like “The Chosen Adventures.” Christian media and art can deliver messages of love and hope to children who, in today’s challenging world, need inspiration and protection. At the same time, social and media pressure must continue on governments and international institutions to practically ensure the rights and security of Christians worldwide.
