Wehab Alizadeh Released from Naqadeh Prison

Seyyed Wehab Alizadeh, a political prisoner, has been conditionally released from Naqadeh Prison in recent days. Mr. Alizadeh was previously sentenced to three years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Urmia and was detained in late Bahman 98 to serve his sentence.

According to Hrana news agency, citing the Democracy and Human Rights Center of Kurdistan, in recent days Seyyed Wehab Alizadeh, a political prisoner and resident of Ashenuye County, was conditionally released from Naqadeh Prison.

Mr. Alizadeh was arrested on 9 Tir 98 by the Ministry of Intelligence forces in Ashenuye County and was temporarily released on bail after completing the preliminary interrogation procedures.

Ultimately, this citizen was tried at the Revolutionary Court of Urmia on charges of cooperating with one of the opposition groups against the system and was sentenced to three years in prison. On 27 Bahman 98, he was detained to serve his sentence and transferred to Ashenuye Prison.

He was transferred to Naqadeh Prison without prior notice in late Mehr 99.
