Message from Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi: Nowruz is a Symbol of the Triumph of Light over Darkness

Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi in her annual Nowruz message, expressing sympathy with Iranians who have lost their loved ones this year, has expressed hope that better days await them.

Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi in a statement and audio message that has been sent to Voice of America, says: The arrival of Nowruz is a symbol of the triumph of light over darkness and the renewal of the new year is an opportunity to strengthen bonds and expand cooperation. I sincerely hope this Nowruz marks the beginning of better years for my compatriots, accompanied by health, happiness and joy. In great despair there is hope, the end of the dark night is dawn.
