Newspaper ‘Hammiham’ Warns System Officials About Their Mistakes

The newspaper ‘Hammiham’ warned system officials about their mistakes in response to statements made by ‘Mojtaba Zolnouri’.
Mojtaba Zolnouri, the deputy speaker of the eleventh parliament, delivered remarks at the commemoration ceremony of Martyr Modares and martyred clergy in Ardestan city. In his speech, he attempted to separate the mistakes of some officials from the entire system. He stated: “Despite all living difficulties, our people are a wise people and do not equate the system’s account with four problematic officials.”
The newspaper Hammiham also reacted to Zolnouri’s statements and wrote: “The great mistake in this thinking is believing that people do not hold officials’ performance against the entire system, but is this assumption correct? This was the same mistake made by supporters of the Pahlavi monarchy system, and at the end of that era they believed that even if officials had made mistakes, it should not be held against the entire apparatus, and in order to prevent Iran from becoming Iransistan, they should defend the monarchy system. However, the reality that prevailed in society was exactly contrary to this line of thinking. The reality was that people attribute everything that happens to the entire collection because the individuals who made those mistakes are not from the lower levels of that society but from the ruling class.”
While referring to the 1957 revolution, whose result is the current discontent and the situation of Iran and its people, the newspaper Hammiham added: “Officials should not forget that people not only attribute today’s performance or today’s results to the revolutionaries of 1957, but will also hold some officials’ mistakes against the entire system. More clearly stated, if people today are satisfied or dissatisfied with the current situation, they demand accountability from those who made the revolution in 1357. In such a situation, how can some imagine that it is possible for people to distinguish between mistakes that some officials make and the entire system?”
