Our Path is No Longer One of Demands, but of Struggle

“Mawlana Naqshbandi” announced in his message to the people that our path is no longer a path of demands, but rather a path of struggle.

“Mawlana Naqshbandi” is a Sunni Baloch cleric who, after months of disappearance by security and intelligence agencies and lack of news about him, has now released a video in which, while referring to people’s call for silence as betrayal, emphasized the path of struggle rather than demands.

In his remarks, Mawlana Naqshbandi referred to the corruption of the system and its immutability, saying: “For 44 years we have given you hope for a better tomorrow. We have called upon you to vote and asked you to abide by the laws and regulations of this country. For 44 years we have invited you to an unreachable mirage and given you the wrong address, but it is enough now. Through this law, we will never achieve our rights and entitlements; because this corrupt system, these mullahs are irreformable.

Their language is the language of force and aggression, the language of torture and execution, and therefore they never understand the language of demands.

Today I tell you that the path of demands is a path through which we will never obtain our rights and entitlements from the system. From now on, we announce to our masters that our path is one of struggle, not demands, because we will never achieve our religious, national, and ethnic demands through legal channels. We will seize our rights in the streets with cries of justice from the throats of these religious charlatans.

While referring to the law enacted by the Khomeinist system, which is neither in accordance with Sharia nor with human rights law, Mawlana Naqshbandi continued: “This law allows our daughters to be assaulted in prisons to extract forced confessions. Their law is one that promotes a colonel rapist in rank, but shows no mercy to the youth who raised their voices for oppression and bullets them down.

He also, while referring to the political maturity of the people, said: “The era of silence and turning the other cheek is over. If you strike, we will strike, and if you kill, we will make your lives hell. If you kill our brothers in the streets, we will stand before you in the wilderness, and if you assault our daughters in prison, we will meet you in the cemetery. We have nothing to lose; we and our youth will remain silent no longer.”

At the end of his remarks, Mawlana Naqshbandi authoritatively announced: either we will achieve our rights and entitlements with honor, or we will die with dignity; but we will never stand by your side in humiliation and degradation.
