Identification of 300 Child Laborers and Detention of Perpetrators of Child Exploitation in Alborz Province

The chief justice of Alborz Province announced the identification of more than 300 child laborers and the detention of several individuals involved in employing and exploiting these children in the province.
According to a report by Hrana news agency, citing IRNA, the chief justice of Alborz Province announced the identification of more than 300 child laborers in the province.
The chief justice of Alborz Province stated: Several individuals who were exploiting child laborers have also been arrested.
Hossein Fazeli Harikandy further clarified: As part of preventive measures, several centers employing child laborers were also sealed.
Earlier, Zohre Amiri, head of the legal committee of the Child Rights Support Association, regarding the identification of child laborers, said: “The plan to manage child laborers at various levels violates the human dignity of children and ignores their rights. According to the testimony of children present in management centers, they were either forced into vehicles through coercion and force or were lured with promises of warm food and clothing.”
